How the Python got its Mouth

At the dawn of time, when the world was young and new, all the animals were all hard working well, all except for Python.

Throughout the jungle, Python was the only animal that did not work or hunt for food, he had animals to do that job for him. Gorilla with his huge fists and muscular body would hunt for food that Python could eat. He would then pass that food to Jaguar who would run to parrot with her amazing speed.

After that, Parrot would fly to Python on his branch. With her sharp beak, she would chop it up so that Python could digest its food These hard-working animals would do this 24/7- never stopping!

Once again, on a wet Wednesday morning, Parrot flew up to the Python with his second lunch, this time it was roast beef and pork chops.

As Parrot flew closer to Python, she realized that he was fast asleep. Making sure that she was not going to wake Python; she landed on a branch near by so that she could cut up his food.

When Parrot was going to fly off to collect the next meal, a sharp tooth descended into her right wing. “Oh my!” screeched the Parrot.

Python loosened his grip and shook Parrot out of the tree. “Nobody disturbs my sleep!” hissed Python.
