Ms Thomason discussed the Zones of Regulation with Fareeda. She identified that she was feeling sad. She suggested that Fareeda talk to her friends and parents about the transition.

Fareeda went home that day and spoke to her mum and dad about how she was feeling. She told them she was upset about leaving her friends and teacher.
Her mum explained that she would still see her friends at break times and that she would make lots of new ones. She could also go and visit Ms Thomason whenever she wanted. Fareeda started to feel a bit better.
