It was two hours before it was time to hand out Valentine cards. Lovely Lucy was a brown haired, blue eyed student in grade four. Lovely Lucy gasped in shock when she saw that the Valentine box was... missing! It was finally time to test her detective skills. She asked Mrs Groves if she saw the last person around the box. Mrs. Groves said, ''I don't know I was at the office waiting for papers.'' Lovely Lucy wondered where could it would it be?

Lovely Lucy bumped into Cute Christina, who was a brown haired blue eyed grade four student. Lovely Lucy explained, ''Sorry to bother you, but do you know where the Valentine's Day box is? ''No, but I did see some Valentine's in Henry Heart's desk if that helps out," explained Cute Christina.'' But I haven't seen him yet.'' It was strange, very strange. Lovely Lucy took her notebook out and wrote some ideas down. Lovely Lucy wondered who it could be?

Lovely Lucy was looking for Cute Cody . Cute Cody is a dirty blond haired green eyed grade 4 student. When she finally found him, he was upset. Lovely Lucy asked him what was wrong? He didn't say. Lovely Lucy kept on asking. Then he finally gave in. ''The Valentine cards are missing.'' said Cute Cody. Lovely Lucy thought hard. Lovely Lucy only had one more suspect left. If she could not find the culprit, Valentine's Day would be ruined. Lovely Lucy wondered who had the box?

"Henry, Henry where are you?" wondered Lucy out loud. Henry Heart is a brown haired, green eyed grade four student. Lucy looked through the halls and in every classroom. Henry Heart was finally found under his desk. ''What are you doing under your desk?'' asked Lovely Lucy. ''Hiding of course, but I have to admit I took the Valentine's Day box!'' exclaimed Henry Heart.

''Fine! I wanted to have all of the Valentine's Day cards all to myself,'' yelled Henry Heart. ''But why?'' said Lucy. ''Because,'' explained Henry. Henry didn't want to, but if he didn't he would be EXPELLED!!!! "You guys need better Valentine's Day cards anyways," yelled Henry Heart. Mystery solved!
