“ I wished we had just stayed in town”, said Jordyn, my sister, it was one Saturday evening and we were bored and it was my idea to go and explore the forest.

We had been walking for about 15 minutes when it began to rain, with lightning strikes and thunder. So we started to sprint like anything, looking for shelter, when we came across this old abandon house. The entrance was a big archway protecting the castle like a hawk, it was old, scary, and worst of all it had cob webs everywhere, the windows were all broken and boarded up, it was two storeyed. We nervously walked up to the gate and opened it, and it sounded like a cat was being strangled, we were dripping wet so we decided to run into the house, not thinking what could happen to us.
Jordyn kicked the door open and everything smelt old with broken windows, we were getting scared so we went to run out the door but it had locked OH NO!!!. The only way to get out was to find the key and that was a problem because we didn't know where it was so we were panicking trying to find it, standing on benches and everything.Jordyn went to stand up on a bench and looked in a high cupboard in the middle of nowhere and found a key so we tried to see if it was the right key and it was. We said thank god for that, we walk out and down the steps and we looked back and said to each other “why did we even go in the house in the first place”? It looks so haunted, spooky and scary so off we walked into the forest and Jordyn's amazing map reading skills got us lost.

I decided to call my Mum but we had no service so we kept trying to find our way back but we walked off the map, suddenly we realized that we were just walking around in circles through the forest and we came to this big gate, Jordyn turned to me and said “are we trapped”, and I said
“yeah I think we are”, I replied
“WHAT DO WE DO?”, we asked each other we ended up walked along side of the gate and no matter how far we walked it never ended it was very spooky and scary now it was getting late and we had to try find a way to get out and go home. Jordyn had thought of a good idea as per usual and it was to try climb up and over the gate and I said “yeah that's a good idea” so we tried it and we got over “YAH!!”,Jordyn said “we made it” .
So we finally got home to our Mum and family, by that time we were so tired and hungry so we quickly had something to eat then we went to have a shower and jumped into bed and had a good night sleep, and didn't wake up until 10:00am the next day.
