How did Christianity change the Roman Empire?
he roman empire was destroyed by christianity because of its teachings. in ancient Rome, money and wealth were a symbol of success, so people strived to get it by working harder. this improved the economy. by christianity stated that money and wealth should be shared to the poor. this motivated people to not work and wait for wealth to be given to them. this caused the economy to collapse. furthermore, christianity taught people to "love one's enemies," so many romans quit the army. this caused the empire to become weaker, and that lead the goths to come and attack the roman empire, who was defenseless, and hopeless. therefore, christianity assassinated the roman empire.
