Bude Primary Academy Infant School Virtual Cornwall School Games

Bude Primary Academy – Infants, along with 84 other primary schools took part in the Virtual Cornwall School Games 3.0!

On Monday, we opened our games with children in school and at home doing a dance of ‘I’m Still Standing’!!! This was great fun in our live virtual assemblies!
Over the week, children and families took part in the set challenges; Monday 'Hop little bunny', Tuesday 'Throw Mr Fox', Wednesday 'Around the world' and Thursday 'Slinging Superheros', throughout, keeping a record of the miles they were covering in their daily activities for 'making up the miles'. We closed the week with a 'dance off'! Each class chose a song and routine to dance too, we were so impressed with the children at home getting their whole family involved!

We are proud to announce that out of the 84 primary schools that participated in 'The Virtual Cornwall Games 3.0',
Bude Primary Infants won 1 Gold, 3 silver and 2 Bronze out of the 5 areas!!!!
Well done to EYFS who got 1 Gold, 3 silver and 1 Bronze and Yr1 for their Bronze. This is a huge achievement with just under 20,000 results submitted from all the schools!
