Camping with my Family

Last, we get a good night's rest under the twinkling stars and the bright moonlight. In the morning we pack up everything and drive home feeling refreshed from nature.

Then, once we arrived my dad and I pitched the tent while my mom prepared dinner.  My brothers gathered wood to start a fire.

First, driving to Big Bear takes three and a half hours and my dad blasted his old rock n’ roll C.D.’s over the stereo system the whole drive there. 

Next, we eat dinner and sit by the campfire, sing songs, and exchange scary stories. My favorite part of the night is roasting marshmallows and eating s’mores.

A special day I spent with my family was when we went camping in Big Bear over the summer. The smell of a campfire burning reminds me of wonderful memories with my family.
