Friday 17th November
Head of School Welcome
Dear Parents and Carers,

This week Year One have enjoyed learning all about Remembrance Day and Diwali. The children have made their own Diya Lamps and learnt about the story Rama and Sita. This week in Science the children were delighted that they had finally fixed Mrs Sanders umbrella, the children tested the umbrella and wrote some super instructions. In Maths the children have been starting to look at subtraction and finding missing parts.

This week Year Two had a visit from the local Fire Brigade. They learnt all about the tools on the fire engine, the various situations firefighters can help with and how to stay safe if there was a fire. It was a wonderful experience and the children thoroughly enjoyed it.

For reflecting on the spelling of red words in his science work, making corrections.
