- they have a Mediterranean climate and there isn't a lot of rain, because of that they manage to grow olives, citrus fruits and grapes with which they can make wine

- the best way to show that someone is wealthy is by owning the land
- men have more privileges (they are: allowed to vote, considered citizens, free to socialize)

Cultural information:

- there is a beautiful sea with the great island of Crete

- they are excellent sculptors, architects, painters, ceramists, philosophers and military men

- maritime transport: boats and ships
- land transport: chariots moved by horses, wagons, walking

Things to see:

Living accommodation:

- houses are built around the garden, walls are made of wood or mud bricks, windows are with no glass but they have wooden shutters to keep sun rays from getting inside, furniture is minimal

- Acropolis of Athens -> large elevated flat rock which has a view of capital, in the Parthenon is one temple dedicated to the goddess of the city, Athena
- Meteora -> mountains of Ancient Greece, a complex built in Kalabaka, going there is among the most scenic road trips you can take

- Olympia Theatre -> sanctuary where now biggest international sporting event known today is being held also it is a religious site dedicated to Zeus

- some things that would make a great gift: anything from oil trees, worry beads or Kompoloi, handmade leather sandals, a mati talisman for the evil eye, handmade ceramics from the Greek islands
