The International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) is an organization dedicated to blend technology and education to provide better learning and teaching experience.

The ISTE Standards define the valuable skills and knowledge for learning and teaching in the digital world, offer a detailed structure for effective technology use in schools around the world.

Innovative Designer: Students use technology to test theories and to solve open-ended problems. Proposed activity - Simple pendulum

A demo of the object swinging in the pendulum is created in which students can change the variables so that they can understand the time taken by the object to complete one oscillation. And by changing the given variables, students understand whether these variables have an effect on the time required for one oscillation.

The length and angle of the string, which the object is attached, is changed by the student and they understand that the length is related to the time taken for one oscillation, but the angle is not.
