First day of classes. Living Laudato Si'

With the glory of God's creation all around me, for what am I most grateful?
I am most grateful that I am alive, and that I have my mom who provides for me. I am grateful that despite the pandemic I am able to live and study comfortably, I have a shelter, I eat more than 3 times a day, I study in a private catholic school and I have access to devices and an internet connection. I am also grateful for my family and friends who always have been very supportive and caring whatever the circumstances are. I am most grateful that I have people with me and I am not alone, I'm not saying that being alone is bad. However, solidarity and independence is different in having no one type of alone. I am grateful to be surrounded with good people and God.

What do I most want to sing about with praise?
I want to sing praise most about thanking God for all the blessing He have given me despite my sins and imperfections. I want to sing about how loving, generous, and forgiving He is that no matter what we do we can always still come back to Him and He is always ready to welcome us back with open arms.

Journal
Today is the first day of classes, at first I was quite nervous because I was intimidated by the subject title "Living Laudato Si'". But as the professor discussed more about the subject I felt relieved and less nervous about the subject. Today we discussed about the book creator. We were told to make a newspaper to document what we have discussed every synchronous classes in Living Laudato Si'. We were also taught on how to use this book creator app which is very cool. This app is very easy to learn, to navigate, and edit. We were also asked to answer two questions from the gospel to put in our newspaper portfolio. One of the highlights of today's synchronous class is the asean contest. It was a very good opportunity for us to work together and explore. I am looking forward to this contest and to work with my groupmates. I am also excited and very curious to learn more about Living Laudato Si'. Overall today's first synchronous meeting was very informative and exciting.
