Mestizos
The product of the European, indigenous and afro cultural meeting
Some typical foods of the Ecuadorian mestizos are:

1. Rice with stew and meat.
2. The fish ceviche.
3. Cachama soup.
4. Cassava fritters.
5. Fried yucca.
6. Leg broth.
7. Cinnamon.

The mestizo holidays are:

- Holy Week
- Day of the Dead
- Christmas
- The festival of the Old Year (December 31)

Mestizo art is a complicated art with characteristics of many different cultures but with its own beauty and interest.

The predominant religion of the mestizos is Christianity.

This myth, then, suggests to us the idea that at some point our country was made up of different peoples, demographics and that at one point in history they all mixed together, like this by magic and as a result of that magical mix, we are, mestizos, as if we were an army of clones.
