Prof.Dr.Engin Arık She was born on 14 October 1948 in Istanbul. She graduated from Istanbul University Physics and Mathematics Department in 1969. She started his career as a student assistant in 1968-1969 in the theoretical physics chair of the Faculty of Science of Istanbul University, where she did his master and doctorate in physics. Between 1969 and 1976, she served as a Research Assistant in the Physics Department at the University of Pittsburgh. She worked as a research assistant at the University of London between 1976-1979. In 1979, she transferred to Boğaziçi University Physics Department. She left Boğaziçi University in 1983 and worked as a specialist in Control Data for 2 years. She worked at the University of Vienna between 1997-2000. She has been working as a faculty member at Boğaziçi University, Department of Physics since 1985. She was married to Dr Metin Arık and had two children. She stated that Turkey is rich in thorium and was conducting research on the establishment of nuclear reactors working with thorium. She died in a plane crash on November 30, 2007.

Canan Dağdeviren World-renowned young Turkish Physics engineer, born in 1985. She is the inventor of devices that convert the movement of organs into electrical energy by placing piezoelectric materials on human organs. She is the first Turkish scientist to be elected as a young Academy member of Harvard University. She continues to work in his own laboratory at MIT media lab. and at Harvard University. Among her new works; The "electronic bra", in which an extremely flexible material is used, that will enable the early diagnosis of breast cancer, is planned to be completed in 2023, the "wearable pacemaker" project, the method of treating diseases such as Parkinson's and Alzheimer's with needles to the brain instead of drugs can be counted. Canan Dağdeviren, who also developed a device that diagnoses skin cancer, succeeded in being included in Forbes Magazine's list of scientists under the age of 30. Medya lab, where she works, grants Dağdeviren the right to personally grant a license to own a patent and establish her own company. Dağdeviren states that she was inspired by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk when her motivation was low. Dr. Özlem Türeci Turkish-German immunologist, entrepreneur, academician, scientist and businessperson. Türeci, an experienced researcher in cancer research, is the co-founder and chief medical officer of the biotechnology company BionTech. She serves as president of the Cancer Immunotherapy Association and teaches at the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz. She is also co-founder of the individualized immune response team in Mainz, Germany. Ganymed Pharmaceuticals, of which she is one of the founders, continues to operate as a subsidiary of the Japanese company Astellas today.

Prof. Dr. Feryal Özel Prof Dr Feryal Özel was on the list of big ideas in 2003 with her research on neutron stars, theoretical astrophysics and black holes. Özel, became one of the iconic women scientists of our country with her first black hole photograph. Dr. Özel gathered the black holes, which are included in Albert Einstein's theory of relativity but cannot be viewed because they swallowed the telescope beams, in a single photograph by combining millions of data obtained from different telescopes.

Dr. Naşide Gözde Durmuş Having been treated for 3 years with an infectious disease in his childhood, Dr. Naşide Gözde Durmuş was inspired by this process. She worked on understanding which antibiotic would work in the fight against bacteria and which drug treatment should be applied according to the bacteria in the body. She was among 35 groundbreaking scientists in medicine and biology in the MIT Technology Review magazine's list of innovators under the age of 35.

Doç.Dr.Burcu Özsoy Çiçek Associate Professor Burcu Özsoy Çiçek, who is the first Turkish scientist to go to Antarctica, is known for her studies on climate change and sea ice. After working in statistical mathematics and geophysical sciences, he took part in the remote sensing and geoinformatics laboratory of the University of Texas at San Antonia in 2003. he got the chance to enter Antarctica during his doctorate there.
