Worldview - geography (Calgary)

As cold as the wind
As dry as dust
As big as a hill
As plain as rust

As loving as family
As inclusive as home
As open as the sea
As unique as garden gnomes

Calgary is a place thats like home to me,
But it may not be a place for many to see

Extended Metaphor

My love for my family is a strong oak tree.
It’s a winding road father than you can see.
It’s a rapid river flowing at fast speeds; full of
strong little fish swimming fast past you and
me. It’s a novel with many endings, too many
to read. Its a long grassy field, with many planted
seeds. My love for my family is more than you can
see, its a very very tall, forever growing tree.

Haiku

The tree and it’s leaves
is what makes us you and me
We need it to breath.

But the more you cut
Is slowly taking the air
Fast out of your lungs.

The world is dying
Due to us being lazy,
Hopefully we’ll change..
