Magic Show

Carter told Melody the plan and Melody agreed and told Carter a way to make it happen. "Moms is always sleeping, so we could wake her up with the plan" Melody said. There plan was to get her out of her house. Melody set off to sleep while Carter stayed up a little longer.

The next day they both woke up to a knock on the door. Melody yelled who is it and nobody responded to her. Then Carter yelled the same thing. Nobody responded to him. Carter and Melody went to the door to see who it was and it was there mom begging for money because she had been evicted from her house. Carter slammed the door in her face and walked away thinking about all the bad things she has done to them.

The next day Carter woke up to Melody standing up on her bed dancing around. Carter asked Melody what happened and Melody said that the Magic Show was back in action and they were hired again. They were so happy that they told there mom. But what they didnt know is that there mom was stealing their money when they were sleeping. And that was the end of Carter and Melody Smith’s life......For now

Once there was a 14 year old girl named Melody and a 16 year old boy named Carter. They wanted to be Magicians but there parents wouldn't let them, so Carter thought of an amazing plan. He made a presentation to convince his mom to let him be a Magician, but he had to make sure what she would say first.

After selling all that candy they started setting up a place for the magic show and started in the cafeteria. They got so much people that the line was all the way to the door. They started doing the magic show and everybody was amazed, they were so good when they took their final bow everyone clapped.They got home and mom was furious she demanded for them to give her money, they gave her 25$.Mom was mad and demanded for more.

The next day Carter and Melody showed his mom the presentation hoping she would finally say yes. If she didn't Carter and Melody had other plans, just you wait....

Hello mom. We are here to show you why you should let Melody and I be Magicians. The first reason is: Doing magic is fun and can help with focusing. For example for misdirection tricks you have to focus so you don't blow your cover. The second reason is, It's Melody and I's dream and you told us to follow our dreams. They sold almost everything in the house. Carter was devastated. Then Melody got bad news that they had got kicked out. Carter didn’t wanna have to live with his mom again but it was just something he had to do. When Carter walked into him moms house his mom Jumped up off the couch and started crying tears of joy. Melody didn’t believe that she was that happy until she look at the walls filled with pictures of Melody and Carter when they were young. Carter and Melody set off to there old room when a saw a guy standing there who look just like Carter. Melody knew it was a sub for her brother so she did magic to make the guy disappear. Melody had finally took her big step in magic. Carter on the other hand was still learning because he had other stuff to do like pay bills and run errands for money. Carter was still proud and his little sister because he would’ve never thought she could beat the impossible. When Carter got back he wanted to see Melody redo the tricks so bad so Carter had took one of his mom‘s frames and have Melody make that disappear.What Carter didn’t know was that that was his mom’s favorite picture of him and Melody.

Carter and Melody's mom said no to the presentation, so Carter and Melody cried. They had another idea. So they went to the store and got a lot of candy, they went off to school. When they got to school they sold every piece of candy and got a lot of money. They sold so much candy that they got $50 every day that they sold candy.

Into about of year of being with the magic show they went out of style. Everybody was now into cars and flying and all that crazy stuff. Melody was devastated because they didn't have anymore money. They then had to sell there car and most of the expensive in there household.

Dear reader, This is from the authors and illustrators of the book, Magic Show. Our names are Dakota Bonhom, Lena Daley, And Kimora Wilkerson. We are a small group of 9 and 10 year olds. We all live in the United States. We all go to the school Accokeek Academy. All of us have siblings. We are all TAG students.

When Carter said no There mom went crazy and said to get out. Melody and Carter were so mad that they left . Not only were they rich but they would only use that for magic topics. Carter was devastated on why his mom betrayed them, but Melody gave Carter an idea to get his mom back.

Melody was scared of all the flashbacks she had so she ran upstairs and played on her phone. Carter on the other hand had so many flashbacks he couldn’t even stand to hear him moms name anymore. Carter cried standing there when another knock came to the door, while Carter was proceeding to open the door Melody ran to the door to open it. Carter was surprised on how Melody was to open the door and a very small puppy got pushed in. Carter asked his sister Melody what was going on, Melody said that we were hired to be grouped up with one on the most famous groups named the MAGIC SHOW. Carter was so happy he picked up the puppy and hugged it like it was the last hug he will ever give, but then asked Melody another question. Carter asked Melody why does she need the dog. Melody said that it needs to be used for one of the magic tricks they told us to study.
