About Me

Hi I am Alexander S and I am the author of this little book of art. I made this for an assignment from one of my classes. I like playing sports, videos game, and I like to read. Some sports that I play are soccer, swimming, and skiing, these are my main sports and are the sports that I have been doing for quite a long time now. Some video games that I play include Elden Ring (So far I am fighting Maliketh the Black Blade), Geometry Dash, and Call of Duty (Cod Infinite Warfare is my favourite!). And I am currently reading the Silmarillion which is a collection of myths and stories based on the Hobbit and Lord of The Rings books. This is a little bit about me and hopefully you enjoy my art!

Lines and Pressure

During this assignment I had to create a word using lines and pressure and different kinds of shapes and figures. I decided to do my name (or the short version of it “Alex”) and give it sort of a space/universe theme to it by applying colours such as purple, pink, blue, and black to my name in interesting ways. I also learned how to draw certain designs as well as use certain tools, brushes, and colours in unique and blending ways.

For this project we had to recreate an emoji using sketches pro. I decided to recreate the smiling sunglasses emoji. During this assignment I learned how to use different types of lighting and different types of shades and colour. I also learned how to follow along and recreate an image.
