Deep in the rain forest of Madagascar lives a very slow motion chameleon.

Chameleons deal with the weather by changing color.They change color to black when they are cold because the color black sucks up sunlight.

It wakes up hungry for a juicy spider.

Chameleons hide their eggs in sand to keep them warm. This is 1 of their adaptation.
So if the sand get’s too wet,the eggs will drown.

Chameleons don’t really change color to camouflage.They Change color depending on their
feelings.

They have sharp claws to grip things well.

Chameleons are reptiles.Reptiles are cold blooded Animals with a backbone.

Chameleons lay up to50 eggs.This is one of their adaptation.Laying many eggs is because if one or two eggs get eaten, the other eggs will still hatch and The Lifecycle will carry on.
