A Street at Night
You will need:

Paper

Wax crayons

Black or dark blue paint

Paint brush

1. Think about a street at night. How does it look different from the day time? Perhaps you could wait until tea time and look outside your window? Which lights can you see? What colour are the lights? Might there be animals around that you wouldn’t see in then daytime?
2. Use crayons to draw anything you might see outside at night time. Can you draw the lights I. Buildings can cars? What might you see in the sky?
3. When your drawing is completely finished pour out some dark coloured paint into a pot (black or dark blue would work best) and mix with a little bit of water so it is slightly runnier than usual.
4. Use your paintbrush to brush the watery paint across your picture. The wax crayons should stand out to show your drawings.
