BLOSSOMING ALMOND TREE
             VAN GOGH
We chose the blossoming almond tree because is a symbol of hope, of the new life that is coming ... and that is PEACE !!!!!
25th Primary school of Larissa
We chose this painting because dove is the symbol of peace! Moreover the fact that a child is holding it ,it gave us a feeling of hope that the future generations will fight for peace and eventually peace will last for ever!!!!
CHILD WITH A DOVE
                    PICASSO
2nd Primary School of Schimatari

Picasso's Dove is our choice. We think that this painting is very special thanks to its simplicity. It seems to us that this painting is one of the most relevant with Peace, our topic. When we look at it we feel joy and we love its colours. Even though it is minimalistic, it is also very meaningful.

"Temple Gardens"

2 votes over the others...I asked them why....they told me because it's weird....and all mixed up...there is a hidden message and you have to look very careful to find out its meaning..if any...There are gardens of pavillions that lead you to JOY and HOPE!!

And just for the information..it appears to recall Klee's impressions from his visit to Tunisia in April 1914...

THE GOOD GOVERNMENT by Lorenzetti

We chose this fresco because it shows all the good qualities that people who have power must possess: justice, concord, temperance, etc ... Governors have many responsibilities, including that of ensuring peace and happiness for their people .
