DIRECTIONS PAGE
*Delete this page prior to submitting your work. Think children's book when you're writing. The vocabulary and material should be appropriate for younger grades.
1. Cover: On the cover page, please add pictures to the letter frames, add your name, add any any other elements to make your work unique (i.e. backgrounds, additional images, change fonts, etc).
*When you click to edit your cover, it will open in canva. Don't forget about canva when you are creating your pages!
2. Directions page: be sure to delete this page prior to submitting.
3-26. Each page should have the following items:
a. Letter of the alphabet (letters in the case of page 25 & 26)
*on pages 25 & 26, include both letters on the page, but you
only have to provide a word, sentence, and visual for one.
b. Word that corresponds to that letter and relates to GEORGIA.
*the relating letter should be at the beginning of a word and
made clear, i.e.: Appalachian Mountains, Alan Jackson, Hank
Aaron.
*the term can only be used once in your book, so if you use
Alan Jackson for A, you cannot use him again for J.
c. Fact that corresponds to the word you chose to represent that
letter.
*must be written as a complete sentence
*must be written in YOUR OWN WORDS
d. A visual representation that of the term you're describing.
*i.e. a picture, chart, map, video, think creatively! Remember things like giphy and bitmoji are there for you.
27. Bibliography Page
a. Alphabetize your sources on this page.
b. Link the name to the source whenever possible.
*For example, Today in Georgia History would appear as:
Today in Georgia History
*Notes, readings, and other google classroom info can be written
as: Assignment 176. Linking is not necessary.
*Information from Gallopade can be written as: Gallopade
Lesson 20.4. Linking is not necessary.
