Welcome to Nursery

In our outdoor area we have a mud kitchen, sand pit, water trays, bikes, climbing frame and lots of other exciting learning opportunities. 

Sometimes Mrs Eva and Mrs Morris will be teaching you.

In the morning you will wave goodbye at the Marlow court gate and walk with a member of the Early Years team round to Nursery.

Everyday when you come to school you will hang up your coat on your peg, your peg will be labelled with your name and picture.

Outside we also have an edible garden where we have grown lots of different food items. There is a climbing frame and lots of other outdoor learning resources.

Inside Nursery we have a jigsaw area, messy play area, Art table, Building area with lots of opportunities to develop your mark making and number skills.

In Nursery we do lots of learning, we learn inside and outside, we have taken some photographs of areas of the classroom you may like to learn in when you join us in September.

We have a large outdoor area where there is climbing equipment and dinosaurs ready to be played with. 

In the classroom we have a home corner, reading <br/>area, sand and water area and a construction area.

From home you can bring in a pair of wellies to wear when it is raining or when we go down to the nature area or on to the field. We store our wellies on the shelves outside of each classroom.

At school we wash our hands regularly to ensure we keep ourselves safe, watch this video of Ms Pearson showing you how to wash your hands correctly.

In the classroom we have our own toilet which you can use freely during the day. 

Welcome to Monet class, I am Miss Evison. Mrs Tuckwell and I are really excited to meet you in September and we have put together this book with lots of pictures of our classroom and outdoor area ready for you to begin your learning journey at St Mark's in September.

In Nursery we love reading, we have lots of books to share with you and we have our own reading corner.<br/> Every day we share a book together during story time.

If you are staying at school for lunch you can either have a hot dinner or packed lunch. You will sit with your friends and be supported by the Early Years Team.

In our classroom we celebrate great learning by displaying it on our Proud Cloud display.

Each day we will have circle time where we will each have a piece of fruit and a drink. 

In your classroom you will keep your named water bottle on a tray where you will be able to have a drink from it through out the day.
