Five Survive

After Oliver kicks Red out of the RV (to let the man with the rifle kill her, supposing that he wants to kill the witness defending Frank Gotti, the murderer in the case), the man doesn’t shoot at her.

Red then explains that Frank Gotti didn’t actually murder anyone, and that she was paid by Catherine Lavoy to be a fake witness in the case.

Reyna tells the man, “I know who killed Jack”, thinking that that was the secret the man was looking for, but it wasn’t.

The police arrive outside the RV and save everyone, except Oliver, who holds a knife to Arthur’s throat, threatening to kill him after all that he did, and Arthur’s brother kills Oliver.

Red Kennedy and her 5 best friends, Maddy, her brother Oliver, his girlfriend Reyna, Red’s classmate Simon, and Simon's friend Arthur go on a camping trip together in a small RV from Pennsylvania to South Carolina for Spring Break.

None of they’re plans worked and so Reyna gives up her and Oliver’s secret.

Arthur writes an apology letter to Red, for everything he did, Catherine Lavoy dies, and the 5 that survived move on with their lives.

While the others were replacing the tire, Red sees a red laser pointer and hears the sound of a rifle being shot.

An hour to their destination, all 6 of them lose signal on their phone, there’s no GPS for them to follow, Reyna takes a wrong turn and one of the RV’s tires goes flat with a huge hole inside it, but luckily Simon finds a spare tire at the back of the RV.

Oliver has a new plan now (since the old one didn’t work), to try and find out where the man with the rifle was located, so they can escape the other way.

Oliver secretly passes a note saying, “SOS” to the Don even though he was specifically told not to by the man with the rifle.

Red starts switching through channels of the walkie talkie they still have (to try to interfere with another set of walkie talkies) she hears people speaking and calls for help.

Red remembered that on the phone call with her mom before she died, Red heard a doorbell which she just found out was actually Catherine Lavoy’s customized ringtone, and Red finally knew, that because Catherine was leaking information from other

Oliver and Maddy’s mom, Catherine Lavoy is an attorney, and has a big case coming up with an anonymous witness, so Oliver thinks that the secret that the man with the riffle is looking for is the name of the witness, because the person with the rifle

The window shatters so Oliver asks everyone to gather resources to try to help them escape the situation.

They hear a voice, not from any of them, when Red remembers her mother before she died speaking on her police walkie talkie.

Arthur smacks the walkie talkie out of Red’s hand and explains that the man with the rifle was his brother, and that the both of them were working together to save their dad, Frank Gotti.

They set up a mirror on the door to try to reflect Simon standing inside the RV, to get the man to shoot so they can see where the light comes from (because when a rifle is shot a light flashes).

Even though the note was passed so discreetly that the man couldn’t possibly see it, he decides to kill Don and Joyce because they would have been able to save the hostages.

There was an armed man out there, hidden in the bushes, who shot all 4 tires of the RV to make sure they were trapped and couldn't move.

Oliver’s plan doesn’t work, so while they’re trying to figure out the secret, they’re interrupted by a mysterious white truck that pulls up outside the RV, and a man and a woman named Don and Joyce come walking towards the RV asking if they are alright.

The 6 of them know that that wasn’t the secret, so Red decides to tell hers, that she was the anonymous witness in Catherine Lavoy’s case.

She instantly knows that the voice is coming from a walkie talkie sitting outside the RV, so the man with the rifle asks, “One of you knows something, a secret. When you tell me, I will let you out alive, and don’t try to run because I will shoot”.
