Influence on math and me
Rochelle Gutierrez has been working as a professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign since 1996. Her main focus is on how intersectionality can play a role when learning mathematics. Some of her research is based on how to better teach underprivileged students mathematics and how teachers and professors can better assist the students. She also has researched how math can impact a students place in society and power. You can be like her if you help unpriveleged students.
