FOOTBALL GANGS IN CROATIA

Football is a sport that has a global appeal and it plays a prominent role in many societies across the world.
Supporters of the game come from all walks of life and they find common ground in following their favourite teams, displaying their allegiance one way or another.
While many are content to wear their club colours, sing club anthems or simply watch games, certain cultures among supporters veer gleefully towards violence and it is something that has been thoroughly explored in recent years.

In sports games other than footballers, the results are significantly influenced by the fans. They can encourage and discourage footballers with their cheerleading and thus influence the result. Since football is the most represented sport in Croatia, a lot of attention is paid to the fans. They have their own gengs and names for them. In Croatia, the most famous are Torcida gang of Hajduk and Bad Blue Boys Dinamo gang.

Each of us can be a member of the gang, but unless we follow the football we have no desire and need for it. Of course everyone will receive you if they see that you are a fan and that you support and love your club.

In Croatia, Torcida is considered to be the most organized gang. They have managed to gather several thousand people in a very short time and each of them is ready to support and be with their club at any time. They are criticized for their actions on a daily basis, but they do not care because they are loyal to their club, and when it comes to trouble, they are all alone and protecting one another.

There is always a negative sides to this, too. Just because everyone is side by side and they support and love their club, it often comes up
fan conflict that is unneeded. And such people are considered hooligans. Unfortunately, there are more and more of them. In most cases, all these conflicts grow into something more and fights, incidents, and sometimes even tragic endings happen.
