Finding Fun With Drawing

When I first started this drawing I thought it would be impossible to create my own robot using 3d shapes but now that I’ve finished it I realize that it isn’t really that hard. The hardest part of this was coming up with the idea, at the beginning I tried it something black and white then I added a green and red eye to simbolize that he could either be good or evil. But later I thought that it didn’t really connect so I made him a security guard which ended up working so I kept it. I really struggled with the legs so I just added wheels which I thought of thanks to some inspiration from another classmates work.

Choosing this emoji was a no brainer because it is the one I use the most and I honestly find it kinda funny. Drawing this wasn’t that hard because I didn’t have to come up with it myself so making this wasn’t that hard. This is my favourite one because I think it looks the best and I think it actually does a good job of representing this emoji. For next time I should probably add more shading because at the time I wasn’t too sure of how to do that.

Banana: This was my first drawing so it looks slightly worse than the rest. I think it looks pretty good but I probably could have added some shading. What I did well is the idea itself, making each letter a banana look like it was aged differently was a great idea and I think it’s pretty creative. For next time I should probably add shading because I feel like it was lacking in that department. I also probably should have used more types of pencil so it looked better.

Gary’s nuts logo: This is probably the worst of the bunch simply because I don’t think it’s creative enough. Every single one of the other ones had something special but this one didn’t really have that. I tried to add block letters but they didn’t look too good so I scratched that and ended up using cursive. I think the squirrel does look good tho and you can certainly tell what it is which isn’t the case for every other one of the animal drawings I’ve made over the years.

Hi I’m Julian, I’m 13 years old and I am inside of the PLP program. One of my hobbies is playing soccer, I play in a league and I’m a right back. My team might not be very good (we’ve lost most games) but we at least try. Another one of my hobbies is drawing which I haven’t done much of recently but I usually enjoy drawing animated characters. The third and last of my main hobbies is playing video games which is the one I do the most. The games I play the most include, all of the Batman Arkham games, Elden Ring, Fall guys, Doom Eternal and many many more.
