In this collaborative eBook, each partner of the project presents his city and his school.

Firstly, each partner offers a picture of his school, of a classroom and of one monument of his city. 

In a second time, the others partners put on their mathematician glasses and must research on the pictures geometric shapes.
Pärnu in ESTONIA

Pärnu is the fourth largest city in Estonia (51 334 residents). Located in southwestern Estonia on the coast of Pärnu Bay, an inlet of the Gulf of Riga in the Baltic Sea.  Tallinn, the capital city of Estonia, is 128 kilometres north of Pärnu. Pärnu is a popular summer holiday resort with many hotels, restaurants, and large beaches. The Pärnu River flows through the city and drains into the Gulf of Riga. People have lived here, at the mouth of the river, for 11,000 years. The history books mention the City of Pärnu for the first time in 1251.
The Estonian school

Pärnu Kuninga Street Basic School is situated in the school building founded in 1875. A large number of politicians from the first government of the Republic of Estonia, many cultural and music action figures have studied in this building. The school is located in the center of Pärnu.

-62 students among them have a simplified curriculum because of their different special needs, including educational ones
