School is open to everyone in September. The doctors say it is safe so we can start going back to school to learn and see our friends and teachers again. School may feel a little different when we go back, this is because our teachers have made some changes to keep us all safe while we learn.
I have been at home for a long time now so I might feel a little anxious or nervous about going back to school. Its normal to feel like this and lots of children will feel the same.
I will line up outside school and wait for the gates to open.
I will keep my distance from other children so that I stay safe.
My parents will not come into the yard with me but my teachers will make sure I get into school safely.
I don’t need my book bag, pens or pencils or my PE kit. If I have a packed lunch it needs to be in a plastic bag as it will need to be thrown away.
On the days I have PE, I will come in my PE kit.
I will use the hand sanitizer as soon as I come in to school. This will keep me safe from germs. I will wash my hands when my teacher tells me, when I sneeze, before I eat and after playing outside.
In the classroom all the desks will be facing the teacher. This is my class bubble.
We must try to stay in our seat so that we keep our distance from others. My teacher will put all the things I need to learn on my table.
