The Kichwa culture is a very ancient culture of Ecuador and its native language has the same name as the culture but is also known as (Runa Shimi) which remained as a descendant after the Hispanic domination.

At one time they believed in the sun and the moon but after the arrival of the Spaniards their belief is mostly catholic but they still celebrate the sun as a tradition and there are even churches that speak in Kichwa.
