Iguanas are fascinating animals! There are more than 30 kinds of iguanas in the world.
They live in North and South America.
Iguanas have claws and spines. They can use them to scare and attack enemies.
Did you know iguana tails can come off if they are in danger? Some can even grow new tails.
Iguanas can eat leaves, flowers, and insects. One kind of iguana even eats algae from the ocean!
Some people keep iguanas as pets. Some iguanas can live for 30 years! But some don't live that long because they get eaten - by cats, birds of prey, or even people!
I may be cute, but I'm older than you!
