Why Pennsylvania was founded

Pennsylvania was founded from an English Quaker named William Penn, whose father gave England's King Charles II tons of money. After William's father died, King Charles II repaid William Penn with land. That land is now Pennsylvania. In Penn's colony anyone is welcome. He even respected the Indians around the colony.
