Tuckers House is extremely important in many ways.
Tuckers House; like most houses in this tiny archipelago was made of limestone. Tuckers House's antique furniture is made of the native Bermuda Cedar and English Mahogany.
Tuckers House was built in 1752 and in 1755 Sir Henry Tucker and the Tuckers moved into the house. Tuckers House also was involved in a scandal called the Gunpowder Plot. The Gunpowder Plot was a scandal occurred because Henry Tucker wanted to trade salt with the Continental Congress in America, however the Americans wanted to trade gunpowder. The Plot was planned by the Tuckers in Tuckers House. So the Americans came in ships to Bermuda in the night and the Bermudians traded gunpowder.

Fun Fact: Tuckers House was built on Water street. The street was called 'water street' because the street used to be by the water when all of the buildings weren't built to block the water.
