THE LEGEND
I awoke on a sunny Monday morning to the light streaming through my face.I was confident that it would be a good day because today was my first day in London and I wanted to get to know this place.Without delay,I dressed quickly and went out of the hotel where I was staying.There were many people around me,many different voices,it was the first time I was seeing so many people together,so I found it strange.I didn't know anyone here,so I had to either find someone to promote the place or take a trip,which would probably have been more helpful.I looked around for a poster,and when I saw a poster,I got the address and set off.I reached the address and had my name enrolled by the staff.The trip was tomorrow.I decided to stay in my room for the day so I went back to the hotel.

When I woke up in the morning, I was excited.I was able to come to London, which I had dreamed of for years, and even got the chance to travel.Anyone who saw it could understand how happy I was just by looking at my face.I went down to breakfast,I couldn't even remember how I had breakfast because of excitement; As soon as I finished,I ran to the place where the tour was.Luckily it was close, it didn't take much time.

Ah,what a tiring journey it was!I couldn't feel my legs, but still couldn't miss these sights,it was worth attending.We arrived at the place they called the last part of the trip.“Westminster Bridge” which was in front of me with all its beauty.It was perfect,it created such a beautiful image with the aesthetically pleasing buildings around it that I couldn't take my eyes off it.

‘'And here is Westminster Bridge,’' said the guide.“For some this is a cursed place, for others it is where happiness begins.Your destiny determines which one it will be for you.There are several legends about this structure,let me tell you.”continued the guide.Some of the people were sitting on the benches and some on the ground,waiting excitedly for what he would say.
And so he began telling the legend;

It is said that a country boy lived here.This boy was so ugly that the town's people couldn't bear to look at him.The real family of the boy was unknown,it was said that his mother rejected him because whe she saw him in the cradle and she found him very ugly.Of course, another family who adopted this child believed that he would change when he grew up,but when they saw that the child was ugly even on his 5th birthday,they disowned him.So the boy started living on the streets and it was difficult for him to find a job, because this town he lived in was so judgmental that he had to be handsome to even be hired.He was finally employed by an old woman who was blind.The young man worked with her until her death, but the working process was so difficult that he often quit his job.People throwing tomatoes at him, trying to put a paper bag on his head, and often messing up his workplace were just a few of the things they did.

One day, a girl came to the store with a paper bag on her head.At first,he thought she was kidding.After all,she wouldn't be the first to do it,he tried to send her away.When he tried to take the paper bag from the girl's head,he heard the girl's painful cries, and the girl started begging him not to do it.As a result,the boy gave up and the girl ran away from the market.The boy went after her,wondering why she was wearing a paper bag. He caught the girl and wanted to remove the paper bag.The girl rejected the boy because she was ashamed of the boy in front of her.The boy insisted,and the girl finally accepted his request.He took the paper bag off of her head,and the boy was surprised to see such a beautiful girl was walking around with a paper bag.However,the girl was bullied like the boy in her life.

The guide took a deep breath, then continued;
”Another legend is that this boy and girl fell into the clutches of a love affair.They grew up and got married.They had a child.This child was so beautiful that the town could not believe that it was their child.At same time,the child was the child of the most beautiful woman in the town who was missing.They believed this child was hers.They did not listen to the objections and cries of the couple,and they took the child from them. The couple could not stand it and they jumped off this bridge holding hands.The waters of the Thames River was considered sacred at that time and was seen as a cure for diseases.The couple did not die, they changed in the waters of the river as people accepted their very normal condition as an illness.They became exactly what people hoped for.They went out of the river to get their children, and the town was even more surprised when they saw them.This time they gave them their child.
