This exhibit centers on a detective case file run by Detective James known as the O’Brien family murders taking place during midnight on Oct 12 & 13th, 2004. The exhibition covers the cold case file filled with victims, suspects, murder weapons, objects possibly connected to the case, and detective notes pieced throughout the story.

On the morning of October 13th, 2004, a maid working for the O'Briens found the bodies of Husband and Wife Lewis O’Brien and Lauren O’Brien in their bedroom. Not long after, the bodies of their children Matthew O’Brien and Kaitlyn O’Brien and two security guards are found. James gains objects connecting to who could be responsible for the robbery and murders and comes up with a few suspects. But throughout his investigation, James only becomes more and more confused on who the murderer is. Distressed, James attempts to question prime suspects, though they have alluded to nothing.

With no proper & physical evidence, Detective James is forced to close the case. Who could be responsible for the murders, and what exactly happened the night of Oct. 12 & 13th, 2004? With evidence provided within the exhibit, it is your job to decide as to who may be responsible.

Police discovered six deceased bodies on the morning of October 13, 2004. Reports claim business owner 45 year-old Lewis O’Brien and his wife Lauren O’Brien were found dead in their own home. Their children, 7 year-old Matthew O’Brien and 4 year-old Kaitlyn O’Brien were also found dead in their bedroom. Their bodies were found by one of the maids working for the family and reported to Greenwich police.

The bodies of security officers of 28 year-old Natasha Olionson and 44 year-old Dylan Sanderson were also found at the house.

Police have contacted their families, some suggest it was a targeted murder and robbery. The investigation is still ongoing at this moment.

News Report on the O'Brien Family Murders:
This news report published by Greenwich News covers the deaths in the O’Brien family and two security guards at midnight between October 12-13, 2004.
Date: 10/13/2004
I was called in today to investigate the murders of the O'Brien family. The bodies of Lewis and Lauren O'Brien were found on their bed. The coroner detected three shots on Lewis' head and seven on Lauren, neither showing signs of physical struggle. Both were asleep at their time of death. Their children Matthew and Kaitlyn O'Brien were found similar inside their bedroom. The maid who made the 911 called can't recall hearing or seeing any strange activity after what was apparently a family dinner.

Two security guards named Natasha Olionson and Dylan Sanderson were shot inside the CCTV room, again with no signs of restraint.
Detective Note 10/13/2004:
A detective note written by Detective James.
A Silenced Pistol
This 9mm pistol was found on the scene equipped with a silencer attached to the front of the weapon. The weapon had fingerprints of the brother Connor O’Brien, however, they seemed to be smudged in some areas.
