Outlining the experiment and organising equipment
Testing, Observing and Comaring
Our experiment was to investigate whether the temperate of a tennis ball effects the rate of which it bounces.
We had a discussion in class and debated which one we thought would bounce the highest and why.
We got three tennis balls. One hot, One cold and One room temperature.
It was important to do the activity as soon as possible in order to get
accurate results before
the balls began to change
temperature.

We decided to use metre sticks to measure the height that each ball bounced. We also made sure that we dropped the balls at the exact same time. We recored a slo-mo video to ensure that we could see the highest point of each ball.

Analysis on the results
Recording Data/Comparing Predictions

The results showed that they majority of the group were correct in our prediction. The results were consistent with the discussions we had in class before the investigation. There was a small percentage of the group that thought the cold ball would bounce the highest. We then recored how the tests were carried out and outlines the fairness of the investigation.
We then drew a graph of the results.
We did the test three times to ensure that the results were consistent.
The result showed that the hot ball bounced the highest.
The room temperature ball bounced the second highest.
The cold ball bounced the lowest
