 Photo Academy 

On day seven we went to a photography studio and learned about all the different props and backdrops she likes to use and how she lets every family get there own back round and props that they want .

On day three we went to a Museum called MIA I took a lot of pretty pictures of art and people . Then we went to the sculpture garden I first ate lunch then I took pictures of beautiful flowers and sculptures It was a experience of a life time.

On Friday I was not at summer academy because I was fishing at the top of Minnesota the place I was in is called International falls it was really fun because I got to spend quality time with my family .

On day 9 we took pictures for our Macro mysteries and created our own gallery . In our gallery we did our creations and labeling which was super fun . After that we listened to some student spotlights and learned about the people in our class and that was our day .

On day 11 we did our picture canvas . We also did our cardboard poster which was super fun . The picture canvas is were you take one or more pictures and you put them on the canvas you can color them if you want to then you put mod podge on and let it dry then you have your picture canvas.

On day 8 we went to Como zoo . We saw these beautiful plants and and huge trees it was super cool . Then we went to the sunken garden and took pretty pictures of flowers bushes and trees . After that we went to go eat lunch it was good . We went to go see the animals and the first animal I saw was the flamingos they were so pretty . We saw a lot of other animals too :) .

On day 2 we did a fun scavenger hunt and learned about the rule of thirds the rule of thirds is were you look at something that looks like a tic tac toe board and make something look different and when I say different I mean you do not always put the subject it in the middle.

On day 5 we learned about line . Line is a important part in photography because lines can give you a feeling that you either like and feel happy or you do not like them because they give you bad feeling . SHADOWS can be something cool to put in your photo because you can see things ,animals and people in different ways .

On day 6 we had a really good photographer come to talk to us she taught us about how boys and girls like different positions when they take there senior photos and about how babies can sometimes be hard to take photos .

On day 10 we worked on our name projects . Our name projects are the things that are hanging were you take your name and find things around the school that look like the letters in your name .  

On the first day of camp I had a lot of fun we learned about Mrs. Burke camera collection and made a top ten list about our selves .
