Things you have to know before your trip


1. Before travelling to Africa you have to get some compulsory vaccines. You should get vaccines of all diseases you can before travelling there for a safe trip. one of the places you can get vaccines is Hospital Carlos III.

2. Prepare your document a month before the trip. Get your visa and your plane ticket. You will need them to enter to some african countries.


3. Pay attention to the climate and find out when is the rainy season. It is different in each country. The common thing in all countries is the
heavy heat. Take your sunscreen!

4. If you go on safari, cover your head with a cup or a hat, all day under sun could be dangerous. Take also some water.

5. Use comfortable and light clothes ,it is also recommendable to wear light colour clothes.

6. Be sure you can talk English, French or Portuguese. If you don't you can get an interpreter

7. Don't be afraid! It's a very different and unique country but if you follow the rules and respect everybody, there won't be any problems.
