Welcome to St Uny Church of England Academy & Nursery! Our vision is to be a positive, loving school where children are equipped to live well with Jesus Christ and with others.

Getting learning off to a flying start.

Aspire Nurseries, led by qualified and knowledgeable staff, lay firm foundations for children in their early years. A qualified teacher from each school oversees the curriculum, learning environments and learning outcomes in conjunction with the Nursery Lead. Staff strive to ensure all children have an equal chance of success, informed by knowledge of what can be achieved.

Our Nursery Staff & Structure

In the 2023/24 school year, our nursery and reception children will be mixed together across two classes - Tehidy and Kynance.

Kynance Class

Tehidy Class

Miss Thomas is the class teacher in Kynance class. Miss Thomas is an experienced EYFS teacher and has also spent the past couple of years teaching in Year 1. Miss Thomas is supported by Miss Jones.

Mrs Taddeo is the class teacher in Tehidy class. Mrs Taddeo is an experienced EYFS teacher and also leads early reading and phonics across the school. Mrs Taddeo is supported by Mr Townsend.
