Loon Lake Learning Advance 2022

One place I found amazingly beautiful so far at Loon Lake is the lake with the mountains because it is very pretty.

I am excited to play later tag with my friends. I think that it will be grade 9s against grade 8s. So I think it will be lots of fun it we get to play.

I think that I’m going learn and improve my teamwork skills throughout my time on the trip.

This learning advance has taught me a lot but I think the most important skill I grew was teamwork and collaboration skill. I made sure to try to work well with the many teams I was put into. I also felt no matter what I tried my best to communicate my ideas into discussions .

I used my communication and teamwork skills during evening fun. We played 4 vs 4 in pictionary. I worked with my team to come up with ideas of what the drawings could be. We then played monopoly with fancy debit cards which took a little while to figure out how to use.

Laser Tag grade 9s vs 8s. During this activity me and my team used teamwork skills to work together and try to beat the other team. We did not do very well during the first round but after we figured out the guns we did way better in round 2

The 7 Habits work block. During this time we worked as a group to understand the private victory habits 1 and 2. During this time I learned about a few things like mission statements. We also did an activity on where we wanted to be in the future and what we wanted to accomplish. This helped me understand habit 2 better, begin with the end in mind.

The Dispicable Devices team worked together during the advance by getting most of our story done. Some people were off topic and did not contribute during this time but we worked through it.

This is a picture of how me, Alica, and Nolan’s survive the wild shelter. I am really happy with how it came out even if only Alicia could fit through the door. We managed to fill in all the gaps and it was pretty spacious inside. I learned the rest of the 3s survival stratigies. I can remind myself of these if I am ever doing more survival activitys.
