Snowflakes fluttered down softly and landed on Onion’s light green feathers. Flapping her wings, the snowflakes tinkled down softly onto the snow. Onions Beady eyes narrowed slowly. No sound escaped as she closed her beak in silence. The wind blew, leaves rustled. It was as if the wind was leading Onion to her prey.  She sneaked up to the pale gray mouse.

The mouse tried to wrestle itself out of Onion’s beak but miserably failed as she chewed up her breakfast, remembering her job.


Onion was a short fluffy bright green owl. Her cuteness was adored by everyone

She sneaked up to the pale gray mouse and… boom she missed it. Her white feathers camouflaged into the beautiful white soft snow. Onion’s head jerked like a rabbit hearing a wolf. She felt something appear In her beak. On the inside of her beak was a strange rectangular envelope with a wax stamp on it. On the back was an address, and that’s when it started! The envelope turned as bright as the sun and she felt her beak burn like a bonfire.

ingling, burning sensation didn't last long, but she was afraid it would happen again when she took to the sky. She swooped over branches dodging gun bullets and went past the mountains and into the forest.
