The Bully on My Bus!

My stomach hurts as the bus arrives...
Will he be there this morning...I say with a sigh

His name is Bobby and he's in 9th grade
And every time I see him, I feel SO afraid!

He makes fun of my clothes and calls me names...
I tried to ignore him but he thinks it's a game.

Where did you get
those ugly clothes!?
The dumpster!?
haha

I feel like hiding but that only makes it worse
This bus ride seems more like a curse!

Last week he tripped me and took all my stuff
All the kids laughed at me and said
"you ain't tough"!

Today he demanded my money or things would get bad
When I got to school I felt angry, upset, and sad!

I told my friend about Bobby the bully
He said I should go and tell my teacher, Mr. Sully.

Mr. Sully thanked me for telling him my story
And gave me a hug and told me NOT to worry!

To stand up strong the next time I met my bully!

*avoid contact, change seats, or go
home another way

3. Stand tall & show confidence by saying 'NO!' or 'STOP IT!'
4. Ignore their words and don't give them satisfaction!

5. Don't show your feelings and keep your mind occupied until you're out of the situation!

The next morning, the bus came along...
I remembered Mr. Sully's words of how to be strong!

Look at those dumpster shoes!
hahahahaha

I got on the bus and walked towards my seat...
Bobby made fun of the shoes on my feet...

I ignored his words and kept my head up brave
And reminded myself that it's different today!

blah blah blah

Bobby demanded my money and I told him NO!!
The bus pulled up to school and it was time to go!

As I got off the bus, I felt brave and strong...
And I'm not so scared now when the bus comes along!

The next day I got on the bus, guess who wasn't there?
Bobby! That's right, he rides to school with his mom in a car that they share!
