The House Next Door

In the weekend my friends and I had a sleepover at my house. It was pretty weird because the house next door was ABANDONED. Anyway we had a nice dinner and then it was time for bed. So we all made our beds, it was me on the top bunk and Ali on the bottom and across from us was Callum and Olo on the other bunk beds, and then of course Jadath on the floor. As usual we didn’t go to sleep we all started talking about girls, finally we all got tired, stopped talking fell asleep at twelve o'clock midnight.

What a coincidence we ended up waking up at twelve o’clock in the afternoon and were all still tired. Being the brainy fella I am, I came up with a good idea and I asked the boys “ How about we go and check out the ABANDONED house next door,”
“YO!!,” yelled Jadath but the other boys weren’t too keen, but we did manage to make them want to do it. We all agreed we would go at five, so we played around and wasted our time until it was five o’clock, time to leave, we walked over and Ali opened the gate as it made a sound EEERRR!!! and straight away I had a bad feeling and I was thinking in my mind, the HAUNTED house was a SCARY man frightening kids in the town like a tiger at the zoo.

It was a overcast evening as we passed the STAGGED trees, we saw he HAUNTED house with broken wooden boards, what looked like drips of blood on the outside walls, smashed windows and closed mouldy curtains. We walked up to the porch and Olo knocked on the door “Hello is anyone home?,” Olo yelled but no one answered so he checked to see if the door was open and it was, so Jadath quickly pushed the door open but no one wanted to go in first so then
Callum groaned “ If I go in first you all owe me five dollars each,” we all agreed but I whispered to Ali “ He’ll forget about it.”

Callum lead the way into the HAUNTED house and we were all SCARED and FRIGHTENED, he lead us straight into the lounge, he went to go turn on the light but it wouldn’t turn on, so we went into the kitchen which was right next to the lounge to see if the light in here would turn on but it didn’t. All of sudden we could hear footsteps coming from upstairs. So we made our way to where the stairs were and then we took our first step then suddenly we heard a BANGG!! And that’s when we all knew that this house was really haunted so we kept walking up the stairs and we got to the top. There were four rooms and we decided we would go in two of the rooms and that was the second and fourth room, so we went in the second room and we slammed the door open and it made a violent sound so we checked the room and there was nothing really SUSPICIOUS about this room.

But then we went into the fourth room and they say this is where it all happened so we entered the room and straight away there was this HIDEOUS doll sitting on the bed SCREECHING this AWFUL song and then this ghost figure popped out of nowhere and came straight towards us so we all ran into the toilet and we locked the door then we waited in their for like ten minutes. Then I felt something grab me so I SHOUTED to the boys, “run, something grabbed me,” so we quickly opened the toilet door, we ran out of the room, it was really bad for me because I was at the back.

We headed straight to the stairs, but while going down the stairs I tripped up I looked behind me and I saw a DARK SHADOW following us. Jadath quickly helped me up and we ran down the stairs. We got to the bottom and Ali tried to open the front door but it wouldn’t open, I remembered there was a door at the back that lead outside. I yelled out to the boys, “ follow me,” so we ran to the back door hoping that it was unlocked and it was, so we ran out like a cheetah chasing its prey, our hearts were POUNDING as loud as a lions roar.

A few minutes past and we went back to my place and we all talked about what happened and how FEARFUL it was and then we came up with a name for this HORRIFYING day and it was The House Next Door.
