I am a teacher who believes to stand tall and proud and in charge of all the learners amongst me. I believe it is my duty to nurture and support the learners in my classroom. It is my duty as the teacher to create a big open space that is welcoming, calm, friendly and a safe environment for all my learners to grow in confidently without feeling judged from other learners in the classroom. I want to grow my learners to become those that take charge of situations, to be independent thinkers and to freely express themselves in the open space of the classroom. I feel that I have to set an example for my learners as well as provide a controlled, safe classroom, impart knowledge of topics that can be used in the future and in the classroom and teach them specific skills. I see my learners as individuals who come prepared, focused and motivated in the garden. I want my learners to show honesty and intellectual integrity should be displayed when pursuing academic goals. I see my learners participating in conversations and activities in that take place in the classroom. For successful growth, these learners need to be managed and taught the necessary abilities. I believe an effective teaching strategy for the classroom is cooperative learning. The teacher incorporates cooperative learning by giving the learners the chance to collaborate with others and learn from their perspectives. When learners work together rather than alone, they learn more efficiently and tend to feel more confident. Throughout this strategy the learners are exposed to using a variety of skills such as problem-solving abilities, cognition, their communication skills and lastly their critical thinking skills.

I have decided to implement this tool into the classroom because after spending 2 weeks with the learners I got to understand them and knew how they reacted to certain types of disclipne actions. For example if a teacher shouts at them they will still continue talking and been disruptive however if the teachers make a noise (such as clap loudly or bang on the table) they get scared and behaved. Hence why I decided to incorprate the use of a bell into the classroom. Also i feel like having the rules placed in the classroom where you can always allow them to make reference or remind them of how they should behave in the classroom setting.
I had an amazing response when I incorprated the bell into the lessons I taught. The learners were shocked the first time I used the bell however, they immediately stayed quite and listened to me thereafter when they heard the bell knew that meant they needed to be extremly quite. Overall I believe my classroom management tool was a success. Having my set of classroom rules in front of the class was also a success because at times if they would just stand up and walk I would point to the rules which would remind them and make them aware of what needs to done, the learners reacted well to this system and I enjoyed using these two classroom management tools into my classroom.
