LET'S GET TO KNOW EACH OTHER

HELLO. I am Pınar Ünal Akpınar and I have been an English teacher for 20 years. I am married, my husband is an electronıc engineer. He runs his network company. I have two children. My son is 11 and my daughter is 9. After I graduated from Uludağ University Education Faculty English Language teaching department, I did my MBA here in Bursa, Turkey. I have been abroad many times. I lived in Amsterdam for six months. But my favourite city is İstanbul. Whenever I find time, I go there. I like travelling, swimming, rafting, skiing and drawing pictures. I love teaching and I love my students.I teach language department students and other high school graders. My students and I are eager to experience and work on our project.

Hi, I am Zehra and I am 16 years old, I live in Bursa. I live with my parents and 2 siblings, we are a family of 5 people. I love listening to music, my favourite music genres are hip-hop and rock. Apart from that, I also like listening to music such as pop or indie. I enjoy watching TV series, movies and anime, but I prefer watching movies rather than TV series and anime. I also like reading books, especially manga. Spending time with my friends is one of the most valuable things for me. I think meeting new people is also very nice, I love it. I want to be an English teacher in the future so I have chosen the foreign language department. There are a few languages I would like to learn, for example Spanish and Korean or Japanese, but first I have to improve my English. My goals are entering a good university and travelling abroad. There is a lot I want to do in the future so I am working hard now. I hope one day all my dreams can come true.

Hello my name is Elif Ç. I have been training in the Atıcılar Olympic Swimming Pool for about 5 years. I want to be better at swimming, but now all pools are closed due to the corona virus. My hobbies are listening to music and reading choreography. Since my family has been constantly working, I cook the food at home. I can't wait to learn new recipes. I help my sister with her homework. My grandmother lives alone because my grandfather died. I visit my grandmother on my holidays. I help her with the housework and she always helps me. I love my grandmother so much that she is my biggest supporter. Helping her with household chores makes me happy. It's nice to play games with the animals in her garden. Since my daily life is very busy, I cannot go out with my friends too much. But of course I meet them once in a while.

Hello! I'm Selin. I'm sixteen year old student at Mehmet Halit Baki Anatolian High School. I have a brother. His name is Emirhan and he's eleven years old. I'm interested in Spanish and French. But my favourite language is English. That's why I'm studying at the language department. I like dancing and singing songs. I also like reading. I like visiting new places. I enjoy spending time with my family and cousins. We live in the same apartment with my uncle, grandmother and grandfather. So we spend a lot of time with my cousins. I want to be an English teacher. That's my dream. I hope my dreams will come true.

Hello, I’m Elif Ş. I’m 16 years old. I live in Bursa with my parents, I have no siblings. I love listening to music, singing and playing instruments, I went to the course to learn how to play an instrument. I love reading books about space sciences and doing research on these types of topics. I also want to learn the art of dubbing. I love spending time with my friends and cousins. First I need to improve my English, then there are a few languages I want to learn, I want to learn Russian, Bulgarian and Spanish. I want to be an English teacher in the future, I have to work hard in order to enter a good university, and it will be very good for me to meet new people and I hope I can make my dreams come true.

Hello! I'm Melike. I'm 16 year old student at Mehmet Halit Baki Anatolian High School. I live and study in Bursa , Turkey. I live with my family. I like reading, watching science fiction movies and learning different cultures and listening to their music. I want to learn to play electronic guitar and travel the world in the future. My dreams are learning as many languages as I can and making shelters for animals. I participated in this project to meet people from different cultures and to improve my English.

Hello I'm Yunus Emre. I'm sixteen year old high school student at Mehmet Halit Baki Anatolian High School. I have 2 sisters. One is twenty-one years old her name is Ayşe, the other one is one year old her name is Hiranur. I'm interested in Norwegian but i haven't studied it yet. I love English very much and thats why I joined this project. I like cycling and listening to hiphop, rap and blues. I love watching movies especially sci-fi. I love Marvel Cinematic Universe.
