They perform an unpayable forestry work: eliminate a lot of insects and its larvaes. They are mainly big.

Average lenght: 60-65cm. In male, a max. of 85cm and in female of 75cm. However, females are a little slimmer than male.

Head broad, triangular and quite distinct from the neck. It is a venenous snake. -MALE: grey. -FEMALE: brownish-grey.

Grows about 16cm in length, half of which is the laterally flattened tail. Females are usually larger than males.

The upper part tend to be from an olive, grey, carbon or muddy brown tone. They have an intermitent yellowish stripe all along the back.

Cutting down trees (deforestation) is a negative impact against the ecosystem because the less trees are the fewer it rains, also affects animals and plants. Pollution, another negative impact, it affects the air, there are toxic quemicals that accumulates in the atmosphere, it causes chronic diseases. Habitat destruction, there are foreign species importation and hunting, it affects in bio dibersity. It impacts on genetic diversity and indirectly to species.

MUTUALISM: when two species work together for both organisms benefit, but don't have a permament relationship. EXAMPLE: Some birds, such as the white-throated dipper, get on the back of some hairy mammals to feed on the fleas of their hair. Birds have a constant supply of food and mammals reduced their parasit pleague.

DESCRIPTION OF THE ABIOTIC FACTORS OF AINSA

AVERAGE TEMPERATURE: 11ºC, the max. temperature is 27º-28º and the min. is 1ºC. Rarely is lower than -4ºC and goes over 31ºC

AVERAGE PRECIPITATIONS: 958mm. It rains the most in April. From June to September rains the least.

TYPE OF SOIL: cambisol / phaeozem

BIOTYPE: - Climate: mediterranean climate with continental naunces. the rains aren't abundant. - Ground: its very resistant against roughts as it icontains so much water and important minerals. - Water: it is very abundant because of the ice caps melting.

They are located in rocky limestone places at about 1800-3000m. They aren't toxic and have been used for medicine as a remedy.

POSITIVE IMPACTS TO PREVENT AND CORRECT NEGATIVE ONES

Cleaning lakes, it is so important because help to keep them polluntion free. Also it's important because Streams and wetlands provide many benefits to communities by trapping floodwaters, filtring pollution, etc. Protecting species, it's very important because when a specie is endangered it's a sign that the ecosystem is slowly falling apart. Recycling, it helps to reduce pollution also reduces the need for raw materials so that the rainforests can be preserved.&nbsp;It requires much less energy and helps to preserve natural resources.

They are clean and peaceful. They live in high and free mountains near rivers and waterfalls. 

They are black and they have a white neck. They eat aquatic larvae, dragonflies, tadpoles and crabs.
