History
Elementary school Pantovčak began working in 1908. The school was built under the leadership of Dr. Milan Amruš and it was opened on March 5, 1908. It started as a four-grade school and remained so until 1953, when it became an eight-grade school. As the old school was too small, in 1950 the construction of a new school began, which was opened in 1954.The school was one of the most modern schools in the country at the time it was built. It is an example of a modern understanding of architecture, it has an indented floor plan and volume with a strict division of school tracts and accompanying facilities. It is also an example of a pavilion type building. Classrooms are therefore characterized by very good lighting and noise insulation.
