Will Ice melt quicker if it is wrapped?

Steps in the Investigation
- Observe how quick an ice cube melts in hot water.
- Make a prediction of what you think is going to happen when the ice is covered in different materials.
- Lay out all four ice cubes in a row on the table.
- Wrap all the ice cubes in their designated material (tin foil, bubble wrap or kitchen roll), and leave one bare as a control.
- Set a timer
- Watch the ice cubes to see which one melts the quickest, and which one melts the slowest.
- Record your results.
- Draw up a conclusion.
- Compare results to your beginning prediction. (Were you right?, What was different? etc.)
