MUST BE MET&nbsp;yellow school bus tags identify that this student MUST be met by an adult at their stop. CLASS policy requires that all JK/SK students are met at their stop by an adult but many parents request the same for their primary students as well. These tags are provided for transported students and must be attached to the backpack where it can easily be seen by the bus driver.

Our French Immersion Program

Early immersion has been called a “gentle” introduction to another language. Through watching and listening, students begin to recognize words and phrases, responding appropriately. Soon, they are singing along, joining in during the choral speaking and peppering their sentences with French words. For the first couple of years, students are not expected to speak French at all times. French Immersion is designed for families who do not speak French.&nbsp;All communication between the school and home will be conducted in English, (e.g. newsletters, memos, report cards). In French Immersion, students do not simply learn French; they learn IN French, all day long.&nbsp;You don’t need special skills to help your child learn French. Spending time with your child – talking about what he or she is thinking about and doing in his or her everyday life – will make a difference There are many benefits of bilingual education: research shows second language acquisition helps develop problem-solving, creativity and critical thinking. French Immersion graduates are future ready, with additional skills and increased opportunities for employment in Canada.
