Most teenagers (62 out 75 teenagers) tidy their room while 40 teenagers out of 75 clear the table. 3. In the house mum usually does the household chores in 47 families out of 75 and in only 27 families out of 75 all the members help to do the household chores. 4. 84% of the teenagers in the survey think that it’s important to give a hand to parents. Most of those who do chores, tidy their room (93,2%). Also, more than 4 out of 10 take the rubbish out, lay or clear the table. 3. In most kids’ families (59,1%), it is their mum who does the chores. Another 38,6% say that al the people in the family share chores. 4. Most of the kids (81,8%) help with the chores because they believe they should help their parents. EUROPEAN TEENAGERS AND ... THEIR TIME DURING THE CORONAVIRUS LOCKDOWN

Students have been encouraged to make videos, write essays and works to describe how our lives have changed during this period of social distancing and lockdown due to the Coronavirus outbreak in all Europe. During the chatrooms Thu 28 June and Thu 4 June students shared their fears and free time activities in this period. Primary School "Retfala" Osijek, Croatia RISKY BEHAVIOURS (Tena, class 8a) In my opinion drugs, alcohol and cigarettes are the most dangerous things for teenagers. Teenagers usually forget the consequences and they want to be special and to stand out. The results of this survey showed us that this generation of teenagers is aware of this problem.&nbsp; DRUGS 40,8% of teenagers think that some teenagers start to use psychoactive substances (drugs) because they think that they will have more fun while 20,4% of them think that teenagers start to use drugs because they want to experience something new. I think that these results are a bit worrying, but also 81,6% of them said they know that after starting drugs it is very difficult to stop. Drugs are VERY DANGEROUS and we must always be careful and refuse drugs.&nbsp; ALCOHOLIC DRINKS 44,9% of teenagers think that people start drinking&nbsp;alcoholic drinks because they want to try something new while 38,8% of them think that some teenagers start drinking acoholic drinks because they want to get noticed. Alcohol is bad for our health. It destroys our liver, blood vessels and our mental health. Alcohol addiction can be a BIG PROBLEM, especially for teenagers. Parents need to be careful and check on their children to avoid the situation from which it is very difficult to get out. CIGARETTES This result makes me happy because 83,7% of teenagers said that they would refuse cigarett if someone offers them one. I am glad that most of the teenagers know how unhealthy cigarettes are. Cigarettes destroy our lungs. Our lungs are getting blacker and unhealthier. We DO NOT NEED cigarettes in our life. Because of them, our health is endangered and we become more and more addicted to them.&nbsp;

Collège République, Cholet, France 1. 17% percent of the French teenagers either like football or basketball. 2. More than half of the respondents like other sports. 3. Most teeanagers do sport. Almost 37% practise sport 3 or 4 times a week. 4. Only 10 % never practise any sport. 5. Almost half of them practise cycling as a recreational activity. 6. More than half of the teenagers prefer watching sport in person than on TV.

The other one says 3 or 4 times, another 5 times, every day and the last one says never. We can see that more than half of teens do sports 3 or 4 times a week, a quarter do sports 5 times or every day and the other half practise it once, twice or even never. For me, doing sports is life, doing sports is improving your health and having fun doing something you enjoy. "MOBILE PHONES AT SCHOOL?" OUR EXPERIENCE (I.C. RITA LEVI-MONTALCINI, BAGNOLO CR. ITALY)

Last December teachers discovered that some pupils in our class made silly videos during school time and posted them on instagram. We talked about it in class and other students admitted the same thing.&nbsp; Parents were informed. Teachers were very disappointed. Together with the headteacher we decided that every morning we would put our mobiles in the teacher’s desk drawer until the end of the school year. The most popular types of books are Fantasy (50%), Crime (47,7%), Science Fiction (40,9%) and Romance (29,5%). 3. Primary School "Retfala" Osijek, Croatia Who does not like to snuggle up with their favourite book and a cup of warm milk by their side? Well, unfortunately more than a half of our respondents don't because 59.2 % are not reading a book at the moment. On the bright side, 40.8 % of our respondents are enjoying a book at the moment. The most popular book genres among our respondents are drama (42.9%), romance (44.9%), horror (36.7%), crime (46.9%) while the least popular genre choices were comedy, adventure and action which don't take up more than 8 percent. On the question ''Would you rather watch a movie based on a book or read the original book?'', 46.9 % of our respondents replied with ''I would rather watch a movie based on a book.'', while 42.9% respondents replied saying that they would first read the book and then watch the movie. Almost ninety percent (87.8%) of our respondents borrow books at the library while the minority consisting of 12.2% of our respondents buy books. 63.3% of our respondents have never read a book on the Internet, while 37.7% have. But, out of those 37.7% only 8.2% of our respondents always read books online. Karla, class 8a

The purpose of the survey is to compare how teenagers in different European countries spend their free time. Starting from January 2020 partners discussed the topics to cover through a forum discussion on the twinspace, that were assigned to partner schools. Students worked in their project teams in a cooperative and inclusive way through brainstorming, groupwork, presentations and using digital tools for sharing.

Primary School "Retfala" Osijek, Croatia In this survey, we asked 71 teenagers from Osijek, Croatia how they spend their free time. The aim of this survey was to see, purely statistically, are the habits of these teenagers healthy and how they stand among others. The first question was: „Do you have any hobby?“. The responses were expected; 95.8% said YES ,and only 4.2% said NO. I was,clearly, right and most people, from this survey,have hobbies and only a few people don't. The second question was: „Which is your favourite social network?“. There were a lot of different responses. However, most of them said „Youtube and Instagram“, some just „Instagram“ or just „Youtube“. Very few responses said „Instagram,Snapchat,TikTok“,some also just “TikTok“, „Roblox“ and „Amino“. As you can see, most people like YouTube and Instagram which is, again, very expected.&nbsp; The next question was: „Do you watch Netflix?“. The responses were, again, expected; 43.7% said NO, 39.4% said YES and 16.9% said SOMETIMES. The responses with YES were expected because Netflix is very known and popular among teenagers. The question after that was: „Do you use Instagram?“. The responses were very expected; 67.6% said YES. ALWAYS., 14.1% said SOMETIMES, 14.1% said I USE ANOTHER NETWORK and 4,2% said NO. WHAT IS INSTAGRAM?. Instagram is a very popular social network amongst teenagers and there are, as this survey showed, very few people who don't use it. The fifth question was: „Do you watch Anime?“. The responses were unexpected; 57.7% said NO, 25.4% said SOMETIMES and only 16.9% said YES. ALWAYS. It is very suprising that that many people DON'T watch Anime and so few DO. I thought that Anime is very popular amongst teenagers, but this survey shows that it is not. The last question was: „Do you like BTS&nbsp;music?“.The responses were, also, quite suprising; 80.3% said NO, 12.7% said WHAT IS BTS? and only 7% said YES. I, again, thought that BTS music is very popular amongst teenagers and it is very suprising that nearly none said that they like BTS ,even more people than those who said that they like BTS music, said that they don't even know what BTS is. SETTING UP COMMON E-SAFETY RULES, SID 2020, GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATION AND COPYRIGHT FOR AN AWARE DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP

One of the first activities of the project was setting up e-safety rules. Through various activities concerning e-safety and netiquette, as well as taking part in Safer Internet Day, our students became aware of the challenges of the digital environment and learned how to behave responsibly in it.

INTRODUCTION As you probably know, most&nbsp;teenagers like to do something,in their free time, that they enjoy. That is called a hobby. Some teenagers are the same as others but some are very different, and so every each and one of them has a special hobby that is entitled to them. From watching&nbsp;Netflix to spending time on social media etc... This survey showed exactly what hobbies teenagers have the most and what hobbies teenagers have the least. Dijana, class 8b

Using Netflix (82,7%) and Instagram (81,4%) is a popular hobby.&nbsp; 4. About 69,3% of teenagers don’t watch Anime. 5. A very strange data is about BTS music, most teenagers do not listen to BTS music (64%) and do not even know what it is (20%), but 16% listen to it.&nbsp; 6. •How do you spend your time while in quarantine? As everybody knows (unless you’re living under a rock) we are going through a rough time and people are quarantined in their homes. These days I’m studying for my online classes and I’m trying to stay close to my homework. Also, everyone is trying to be productive with this much free time so I decided to try and work out sometimes. Furthermore, I am reading a book in English and I’m playing a lot of video games as well. I hope you’re doing well and I wish to go&nbsp;back to school. Konstantinos - class C 5

•How I spend my time while in quarantine During quarantine I have a lot of time and I can use it in a variety of ways. My day starts at 8:00 am I eat my breakfast and open the computer directly to see the news about the lessons. I spend the rest of my morning completing tasks, checking my mails and reading lessons. My afternoon is much more relaxed. Having accomplished my duties, I relax in my room, surfing the web and listening to music. Primary School "Retfala" Osijek, Croatia To the question “What brand is your phone?”&nbsp; 30 participants answered Huawei, 22 answered Samsung, 10 answered&nbsp;Apple&nbsp;while&nbsp;9&nbsp;participants&nbsp;answered with other brands.&nbsp;The most popular brand among the smaller&nbsp;percentages&nbsp;was Xiaomi.&nbsp;&nbsp; Huawei being the most common phone brand here isn’t that surprising considering they have been on top along with Xiaomi in Europe for a while now, however&nbsp;it&nbsp;seems that&nbsp;Samsung has started taking the lead&nbsp;and that Xiaomi is&nbsp;starting to fall&nbsp;behind.&nbsp;&nbsp; This is the question I’m guessing everybody wants to know the answer to. To the question “How many hours a day do you spend on your phone?” 63,4%, of the participants answered more than three hours, 33,8% answered between one and two hours while only 2,8% answered less than an hour. The fact that more than half of the participants answered that they spend more than three hours on their phones a day is very concerning, and it is even more concerning that it’s also completely understandable. Some sort of smart device is necessary for schoolwork, and it’s necessary for keeping in touch with most people in our lives. When someone gets used to having entertaining content on their fingertips 24/7, it becomes difficult to live without it.&nbsp; To the question “Which social network do you use the most on your phone?” 42,3% of participants answered Instagram, 29,6% answered YouTube, while 11,2% answered with other. While social networks are a good way to connect with your friends and family, they’re usually used for keeping up with celebrities and promoting certain products and shops. Instagram in particular can make people compare themselves to others which isn’t a healthy way of thinking. It’s good to keep in mind that what you’re seeing is just the best part of someone’s life. There’s a ton of hardships and bad times in between, just like everyone else. Lara, class 8a

INTRODUCTION (Lara, class 8a, Primary School "Retfala" Osijek, Croatia) As time passes and the world&nbsp;makes more and more technological advances, certain pieces of&nbsp;modern&nbsp;technology&nbsp;are becoming&nbsp;increasingly&nbsp;more&nbsp;ingrained&nbsp;in our day to day lives.&nbsp;Devices that were considered revolutionary only 12 years ago have&nbsp;become&nbsp;old and outdated,&nbsp;and the market has become so competitive that we’re getting new phone models almost&nbsp;every month.&nbsp; In 2016&nbsp;over 28% of the world’s population owned a smart device, a figure that’s expected to increase to 37% this year.&nbsp;It’s clear that we’re&nbsp;quickly&nbsp;becoming dependent&nbsp;on these devices, and because of this we decided to run a survey.&nbsp;&nbsp; Here are the results:

Collège République, Cholet, France 1. 31.1% of the French teenagers have an Apple. 2. 54.4% go on their phone more than 3 hours a day while 27.2% spend between one and two hours a day and 18.4% spend less than one hour on their mobiles. 3. 31.1% have Snapchat on their phone 4. Most teenagers got their first mobile phone when they were between 10 and 15 years old. Few of them got it after the age of 15. 26% got it when they were less than 10 years old. 5. INTRODUCTION (Matej, class 8b) As you probably know, computers took place of many things, functions and other devices. We're watching movies, series, listening to music, shopping, playing games, taking lessons, and even socializing, online. This current situation showed us exactly that online reality can really replace the real reality, and I've been questioning that regime ever since. But, there is no place for philosophy, let's dive into our survey results. In this survey, we asked teenagers from all over Europe how they are spending their free time. The aim of this project was to determine how healthy our teenagers' habits are, and to see, purely statistically, where we (ourselves) stand among others. So, are you among the most or the least? Let's see.

Primary School "Retfala" Osijek, Croatia The survey was carried out on 71 respondents from our school. First question was pretty simple, how much time do you spend in front of screens, on school days. It was noted school days, because on free days, the screen time hour count can easily become a two-digit number (12-hour gaming marathons? Why not.) There were no notable majorities, 39.4% of teenagers spend 3 to 5 hours a day in front of their beloved screens, while 36.6% spend from an hour, to 3 hours in front of their screens (Great self-control, I love it.) 12.7% of us, however, don't even spend an hour in front of the screens (Hats off.), while another 11.3% of us spend more than SIX hours in front of our screens. I advise you to find a hobby, 8/71 teenagers. The next question was whether we prefer video games or books. 38% answered video games, which is kind of less than expected, but I am in that group so I shouldn't complain. 35.2% love both video games and books, which is great knowing that such percentage means that there are many of us that are open-minded. 26.8% teenagers, however, prefer books which is also a good number.

•Quarantine Routine During quarantine I do many things so I&nbsp;spent my day without getting bored. In the first place I wake up early, I eat a healthy breakfast and I start my day. Then, I work out in my backyard to keep in shape.&nbsp;After that, I do my online classes and my exercises. I also watch plenty of movies and lots of series. Furthermore&nbsp;, I spend some time with my family. We usually play board games and talking&nbsp;about different&nbsp;issues. This is what I am doing while quarantine. I hope that everyone stays at home to be safe. Dimitra - class B1

•How do you spend your time while in quarantine? I have a lot of things to do while me&nbsp;and my family are in quarantine. First of all, I try to do things with my family that I hadn’t the opportunity to do in the past times&nbsp;, like playing games, watching movies e.t.c. Also, I play computer games with my friends to decrease the distance between us. Likewise, I do revisions and exercises for school lessons. Finally, I do music and English lessons inside&nbsp;the internet. With all that&nbsp;differences in our programme and in our life, after the disease of Coronavirus we will be more wise and prepared for other diseases. Christos - class B1

To the question “Do you have Facebook on your mobile phone?” 51 participants said no, while 20 said yes. Even though Facebook is still a huge company with 1,73 billion daily users, it is slowly become obsolete with the newer generations. Most teenagers who use Facebook use it to keep up with their families, and youth typically prefers spending time with their friends rather than their aunts and uncles.&nbsp; Lara, class 8a

About half the students (45,5%) who responded spend between 1 and 2 hours on their phone every day, but another 36,4% spend more than 3 hours. That is too much! 3. Most of the students (84,1%) got their first mobile phone when they were between 10-15 years old. 4. Most of them (54,5%) use Youtube on their phone and some (25%) use Instagram. 5. INTRODUCTION (Karla, class 8a) What is the importance of books, you may ask? There are so many books and so little time to read them. Around 130 million books have been published in the history of humanity.&nbsp; Books allow its readers to internalize, respond, react and transform. Books make our mind more healthy and fit,&nbsp;one of the greatest importance of books, it protects you from Alzheimer’s Disease,&nbsp;another importance of the book is that It improves your vocabulary. Television, the Internet, and TV shows can look appealing but nothing can replace a good book, it gives you wisdom, solution, new perspective, imagination, improves your confidence, improves your mental health and most of all protects you from many problems and issues. The importance of books can never be ignored, technology will change, the world will change but the importance of books and reading can never change.&nbsp; Let's see what teens from our project think about that:

In this new but bad situation we all live in, we should protect ourselves and people close to us so coronavirus would not be spread to people who are in the most danger of all like elderlies and people with chronic diseases. To do so, we can simply wash our hands. Wash them but with&nbsp;the proper way experts propose and for 20 to 50 seconds so the bacteria and the germs leave our skin. To save our world, we have just something we can very easily do and we are used to doing and that’s staying home, avoiding going outside for no reason and decreasing our transportations and meetings to the least.&nbsp; Another thing we should do is social distance&nbsp;. Keeping 2 meters from people even&nbsp;whether they are ill or not and avoiding handshakes, hugs and kisses isn’t that difficult! We can all do&nbsp;! In this way, we lower the chances of getting infected or spreading the virus. If you fall ill you must not go to the hospital if what you are feeling isn’t severe because you risk of being infected, if you’re not. You just have to stay in α quarantine you have imposed&nbsp;to yourself and&nbsp;call your doctor for advice. Last but not least, avoid putting your hands in your mouth , nose and eyes, where germs can penetrate in&nbsp;our organism. Panagiota - class C5

We started off easy, first question was&nbsp;„Do you like listening to music in your free time?“. Just one student does not listen to music in his/her free time.&nbsp;So that means 98.6% of the people who participated in our survey does actually like listening to music in their free time. I was actually surprised by results of this question. 81.7 % of people who participated&nbsp;in our survey listen to music every day, 11.3% three-four times a week and 5.6% once a week. There are also people who listen to music only when they are in the mood, but only 1.4%. I was really curious about this one, „What is your favourite music?“. Most frequent answers were pop (34.8%),&nbsp;rock (8.7%)&nbsp;and&nbsp;rap (14.5%). Other most common answers were: jazz (2.9%),&nbsp;pop and kpop (2.9%) and trap (2.9%). Little over half, 50.7% of students in our survey&nbsp;never goes to concerts and 34.8% students go to concerts once a year. Really small amount of people goes to concerts once a month, only 2.9%. Other few people do not go often to concerts, maybe when there is a good artist somewhere close, 1.4%. Most of the people in our survey play an instrument, even 74.3%. So that means 27.1% of the students unfortunately do not play any instrument.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Sara, class 8a

Primary School "Retfala" Osijek, Croatia We are all familiar with the term shopping and for many of us it is one of the favorite things to do. Or maybe I'm wrong ... There was a mixture of different answers here, but I still concluded that people usually go shopping two or three times a month (32.4%) or once a month (31%). I think that's just fine. There were also people here who like to shop a little more often, even more than four times a month (21%), but I guess someone has to allow that too. I thought more people would say they shop online more often, but I see I was wrong. We can see that the sections are pop, jazz … What the graph shows us is the kind of music that students like. In the graph you can easily see that the most voted topic is pop, it is easy to see it because its color occupies almost two quarters of the round with a percentage of 34.3% and which has also been highly voted but not as much as pop has been rap, you can see that its color occupies a quarter and a little more than the round with a percentage of 31.4% of votes. CONCLUSION Those were all of the results from the survey. Based on them, I concluded that European teenagersoften behave risky, but in moderation. Drinking is a problem, but our survey shows that teenagers are most likely to drink alcohol just because they want to try something new. That means they won’t necessarily keep doing it. Most of them would also refuse a cigarette which is good because smoking can cause serious health and addiction problems. Smoking can increase the risks for heart and lung diseases, while drugs and other substances flood the brain with a chemical called dopamine, cause memory recall difficulties, and increase the risk of mental health disorders other than addiction. Why do we act risky when there are such horrible consequences? Instead of smoking, drinking alcohol, and drug abuse we can go to the cinema with our friends and family. Katarina Galinec, class 8d

The 60% of teenagers sometimes do household chores, the 10% of teenagers don’t do household chores and the 30% of teenegers do household chores. The purpose of this report is to investigate how European teenagers spend their free time and what their favourite pastimes are. Only some sections of the actual survey will be taken into account. The report will also recommend a fruitful use of free time and suggest alternatives for teenagers to spend their free time without technology devices and avoiding risky situations. Reports have been written during online lessons in distance learning by students that analysed the graphs and data from the Google Forms.

I.C. Miglionico - Italy In our school, the survey was submitted at the beginning of May 2020 to 12 to 14 years old, three classes for a total of about 71 pupils. We gathered 50 replies.

The outbreak of the coronavirus epidemic had a deep impact on all the countries in Europe and one of the measures to avoid the spread of it was the school closure. The project seemed at stake but thanks to distance learning the partners agreed to reschedule and reorganise it.

During the course of this project the pupils will gather and compare information about where and how teenagers from different European countries spend their free time and whether they exhibit any risky behaviour in their free time, such as smoking, drinking or spending too much time on the Internet. The pupils will practice formulating survey questions and analysing data using a digital tool in Google docs. Finally, the pupils will learn how to write a report based on the survey results. They will also make a short video about their favourite hang-out.

In February the outbreak of the coronavirus epidemic in most European countries led many governments to school closure as a measure to prevent the spread of the virus. The project seemed at stake but thanks to distance learning and the will of partners it was rescheduled and reorganised taking into account the new situation. ETwinning also supported eTwinners and schools providing seminars and events to promote remote education.

Another question (which our parents probably asked us as well) was about how do we spend time on our computers. 74.6% of teenagers said that they're doing their school work, though I believe that the number has rised due to the current situation. 69% of us watch TV series, movies and listen to music, while 52.1% play video games. 22.5% of teenagers use their computers to chat with friends, but I'd say if we counted mobile phones in as well, that the number would be at least near 90%. 16.9% of us are using social media, like Instagram, TikTok etc., but it's the same case as with the previous answer, most of us are doing that on our mobile phones. 12.7% of teenagers create their own video games, which is basically programming and that is really impressive. Programming in general is useful, which makes the number pretty positive. The last question was about have we ever played violent video games. The answer is obvious, 69% has indeed played such video games which isn't really a nice way to spend your time, but hey, we're developing cognitive skills! The other 31% of us, however, hasn't played such video games, but trust me, once they play one they will not hesitate if there are some guns in the game. Matej, class 8b

If there is new homework l write them on a paper that l have prepared where l write in each subject what l have to do and the maximum date that l have to deliver tasks. During the morning l do my homework until 2:30 because it is when l go to eat. After lunch l go to the dining room and l watch a movie or I continue watching my series. l'm watching " La casa de papel" . It is a funny and nice series. When the movie or the chapter of the series is over, l go up to the roof (loft) and l do some exercise and l sunbathe and I also clear up a little bit. In the roof (loft) l do some different sports, l play ping-pong, l play badminton, l dance and l do yoga. After I have a shower. After the shower l start again my homework, sometimes in the evening, l finish the homework that l started in the morning and l send it to the teachers or l start the new homework of the other subjects. At 21:00 o'clock, l have dinner with my parents, sometimes l have dinner alone with my father because there are days that my mother has a night guard. After of dinner, we watch another movie. When the film is over, l brush my teeth and l put on my dental devices that l have to wear at night, the truth is that l have been wearing them, since l was seven years old, after l go to my bed, always when l stay in my bed, l think if l really took advantage of the day and l've done what l said, l would do the day before, l also think about "covid-19" and the damage it's doing to us all and after l fall sleep. In just a short span of time, they will become the leaders of our societies, businesses and nations. That’s why we surveyed European teenagers to find out what are their hobbies and habits in their free time. This survey was taken by teenagers from all over Europe (Croatia, France, Greece, Italy, Spain). Here are the results:

Primary School "Retfala" Osijek, Croatia We all know that the time of puberty is often featured by risky behaviors like smoking, drinking, or spending too much time on the Internet. We will first see what are the causes of drinking problems in teenagers. 45% of respondents voted that the reason why teenagers drink is that they want to try something new. 38% of respondents said that another reason can be that they want to get noticed because otherwise, they would look like losers. If all of the 49 respondents were offered a cigarette, 84% would refuse, while 6% of them would accept a cigarette. The study by the French Observatory for&nbsp;Drugs&nbsp;and Addiction discovered that cannabis use has decreased by 20% and smoking is down by 23% in 2019. 41% of teenagers in our survey believe that those teenagers who use psychoactive substances start using them because they think that they will have more fun and 17% said that because they can’t say no. They will keep using it because they know that it is dangerous but they do not think about the consequences, voted by 39% of our respondents. Primary School "Retfala Osijek, Croatia Everyone knows about good old housework. In the research, we examined how many respondents perform them, and the result was not unexpected. As many as 94.4 percent of students do housework, and the most popular vote was cleaning the room, for which 93 percent went out. It was quite dense, but in the end it turned out that in 52.1 percent of cases the work was done by mothers, and in 46.5 percent of cases it was done by everyone together. Most of them seem to help with household chores because they want to help their parents, not because they need pocket money. I’m glad to hear that 95.8 percent do it for the right reasons, not for money. Tara, class 8a

Half of them go there every month and 3 of them every week. 31 teenagers said that they love to watch comedy films, but 21 of them are more into drama and science fiction. They say that the better the company, the better the film. That’s why 42 teenagers visit the cinema with their friends, while 3 of them go with their family. CONCLUSION Most of us do spend a chunk of the day in front of our screens, but . Watching a good movie or playing a video game is surely better than stalking your friends on social media, but again, taking a lesson is also more useful, especially during times like these. Primary School "Retfala" Osijek, Croatia Who doesn't like to watch an uptight and fun football game? Well, 25.4%&nbsp;agree with us because their favourite sport is football. The most popular sports among our respondents are dancing (11.3%), tennis (8.5%), volleyball (4.2%) and basketball (4.2%). Some other sports that were featured in our survey are swimming (5.6%), horse riding (1.4%), gymnastics (1.4%) and waterpolo (1.4%), while 2.8 percent don't have a favourite sport. 28.2 percent of our respondents play sports every day (that's great!), while 12.7 % of our respondents never play sports (not good). Most of our respondents play sports 3-4 times per week. 50.7 % of our respondents are in a sports team, while 49.3 aren't. The most popular recreational activity is cycling.&nbsp;Our respondents also like going to the gym and jogging. INTRODUCTION (Karla, class 8a) What are some benefits of playing a sport? Sports is very important in our life. It can make our life comfortable and happy. If we can play sports we can learn time management, responsibility, friendship, etc. It’s generally known that people who do physical exercises keep fit and healthy. Sports and games can be of great value to people who work with their brains; to people who lead a sedentary lifestyle. More over taking up a sport has also many psychological benefits. Firstly, it relieves the stresses of everyday life and secondly, it helps individuals identify with a group and replace their loneliness with the security of belonging. It helps with time management- with sports you learn how to organize your time in a perfect way. You have time to practice, to study, to be with your friends/family, to rest.&nbsp; It teaches us about responsibility and commitment- &nbsp;in a team you have to be committed. You can’t skip practices. You have to dismiss something to be on practice in time. This applies also to your social and professional life. And only one 16,2% stay with their phones less than an hour.&nbsp;It’s incredible that the people can stay so many hours in one phone, l’m so worried for these people because they loose the moments they can stay with their family, using face-to-face communication with friends,... The phone can help you with your homework but it is also, your distraction… I think that while you are connected, you loose your personal time.&nbsp;&nbsp; One 70, 3 % of percentage say people have their first mobile phone between 10 and 15 years old and one 24, 3 % say people have their first mobile phone when they are less than 10 years old, and only on 5,4 % say people have their first mobile phone when they are more than 15 years old. However, every now and then, l see more and more children with less than 10 years old with a phone,&nbsp;it’s amazing as children have phones sooner, when they are only children, I think they loose their childhood staying in front a screen. My conclusion is that people stay more hours looking at their phone, and every year little children have phones earlier than before. I believe you can’t stay two hours in front of a phone, it’s bad for your eyes and for your brain.&nbsp; Joana Marqués Ribes. 3rd ESO B.

Nowadays, our world is facing a serious problem. CONVID-19 has already taken thousands of lives and it is threatening the Earth‘s population. In a moment, we HAVE BEEN obliged to forget everything that had to do with our daily life and cope with the new reality, which feels like a science-fiction movie. In order to protect ourselves, the authorities made us to&nbsp;stay at home. Consequently, it is believed that the spread of the virus will be minimized. Right now, WE are all ‘’trapped’’ in the house missing the&nbsp;life outside. I personally do not spend a lot of time at home, but this situation has made me realize that there’s a lot to do while in quarantine. I usually start my day with a breakfast with my family, something that wasn’t so common before. I prefer to start my work early in the morning in order to have enough time for myself, so first of all I check if I have homework to do and make sure it is going to be done early. When I finish it, I spend some time playing the piano or make a drawing sometimes. I should admit that while in quarantine, I realized that cooking is very&nbsp;fun, so I usually cook our lunch. In the afternoon I would exercise or read a book.&nbsp;The night seems to be the best moment of the day, because it is when the whole family is together again. We usually watch movies or play board games. Throughout the quarantine I began to realise that everything that we have for sure can be lost in a moment.&nbsp;After all, this time I feel more greatful&nbsp;even for the least important things. I hope this ‘’film-reality’’ has finally a happy ending.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Sofia - class C4

3rd Junior High School of Alexandroupolis, “Thomna Visvizi”, Greece 1. Most kids play volleyball (25%). There is a very good volleyball team in the city. Some other kids play football (20,5%). Some do karate (13,6%) and play basketball (9,1%) or go swimming (9,1%). 2. Most kids (45,5%) do sports 3-4 times a week. 3. A lot of them (63,6%) are in a sports team. 4.Cycling (47,7%) and jogging (40,9%) are their most favourite recreational activities. 5. 8 out of 10 (81,8%) prefer watching sports on TV. Class A6

The second graph shows that most teenagers do a sport 1-2 times a week (36%), in the first place we also find most teenagers spend 3-4 times for sport (36%) every week. In the second place we find 18,7% of teenagers who don’t spend times for sport every week. 3. The third graph shows that most teenagers they are part of a team (42,%), instead 57,3% they are not part of a team.&nbsp; 4. 40% of teenagers go cycling, 21,3% go to the gym and 17,3% go jogging. 5. 73,3%&nbsp;of teenagers prefer to watch sports in person, instead 26,7% of teenagers watch sports on TV.
