ABOUT THE PROJECT WORK This ebook is part of a crosscurricular activity ITALIAN/HISTORY/ENGLISH about Anne Frank and shows some products made by the students and inspired by Anne's personal story. The English project work was carried out during online classes with 3A and 3B in May 2020 when school was closed because of Coronavirus outbreak and subsequent lockdown measures. It included watching some videos to get to know more about Anne's life and experience, and more creative steps that involved the students personally and individually.

LESSON 2: In this lesson we learnt more about Anne's daily routine. But what is our day like in OUR "secret annex"? The creation of our Coronavirus poem is an excuse to look inside our inner world to consider the feelings, worries and hopes we are experiencing.

WHY ANNE FRANK? Some similarities between Anne's forced isolation and ours were found and a general thought about our feelings, emotions and mood during this weird surreal situation was encouraged. We must admit that none of us was prepared to face all this, psychologically and physically. The consequences (positive or negative) of this dramatic experience will reveal themselves in the near future. For now we just need to find a reason to go on, hoping for the best and good health of the people we love.

Which posters or pictures are there on the walls?), show the parts of the house where you spend most of the time in this period of Coronavirus lockdown and tell what you do.&nbsp;

We often wonder how we can teach RESILIENCE to the young generation. The situation we are living could be seen as a chance to reprioritize our lives, to give it more sense and meaning. It could be the best tribute we can pay to all the innocent victims and to the people that struggle everyday for all of us. Anne Frank's life and experience can help to understand something about us, about the way we face and overcome sufferings and hard times. Great thanks to my students for sharing some aspects of their inner world. It is a precious treasure you must never be ashamed of. Good luck for your future life!
