Summer Term 1 - Monday 24th April to Friday 27th MayIntroduction with Mrs Robinson
Another great edition of the Splash. Thank you to all the staff for all their hard work this half term in providing the children with such a varied curriculum.
Year 6 SATS came and went without any fuss, and it was a credit to the class team in how well prepared everyone was.
I have really enjoyed the class assemblies this half term and the feedback from parents has been lovely. We will hopefully be able to have more events to showcase what your children are learning now that we are having fewer disruptions.

PTA News
Great news! Our first ice lolly sale was a huge success, we raised almost £110! We are organising a donation of £55 to the RNLI Mayday appeal. Following feedback from parents, our next ice lolly sale will raise money for the Cornwall Air Ambulance charity.
Some of you may be aware that we are very excited to be able to access the wider community once again and our year 6s are able to go on a residential this year. Thoughts on safety when in the community have brought to light the importance of being able to recognise your group whilst in crowded areas. The PTA have kindly agreed to fund 70 school caps that can be used by all classes and groups when out and about as a quick and easy form of identification. THANK YOU!
After half term, we are going to hold an ice lolly sale every other Friday – 10th June, 24th June, 8th July and 22nd July. If you can help at one of our events please email bpapta@budeprimary.org - any help would be greatly appreciated! We hope the children enjoy the tasty frozen treats.
Jubilee Picnic
Today the whole school ate together on the school field to celebrate the Jubilee. The school kitchen provided nearly 150 picnic style lunches and all the pupils and staff enjoyed lunch together in the sunshine.
What a lovely end to a super half term! We hope you all have a restful break ready for the last half term of the academic year - it's sure to be a busy one!

Breakfast Club and After School Club
We are really lucky here at Bude Primary to have a wonderful, cheery, bustling Breakfast Club run by Kim, Sharon and Gary. The club provides a breakfast and activities in the school hall from 8am.
We would like to add in this terms' Splash, a special mention must go to our local CO-OP who generously donate supplies for the breakfast club each week and in-particular this term, donated supplies for the Year 6 breakfast club which enabled us to provide a breakfast to all our students before their exams. Thank you!!!
The After School Club, run by Corrine, Karina, Jackie and Alice is also proving a great success. Children from both schools get to enjoy games, activities and fun as well as the chance to socialise with others outside their usual class. After school club runs from the end of school to 4:30pm based at the Junior School hall.
